AVM criticizes MLAs for raising issue of reservation | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 18: AarakshanVirodhi Manch Jammu has expressed concern over the provocative action of some MLAs (Reserved category) and vandalizing as a routine in the state legislative assembly on the issue of reservation in promotion which cannot be given to anyone as it has been declared illegal and unconstitutional. Banathia asked people to watch the action of their elected representatives who are playing partial role and augmenting casteism and communalism. Yash Paul Senson General Secretary of the manch alleged that some casteist MLAs are pursuing the objective of seeking passage of Bill overruling the judgement of Hon'ble High Court striking down the reservation in Promotion rules 9,10 and 34 and section 6 of reservation Act 2005 . Mr. Sanson said that reservation is not a birth right of any ethnic group as it was a temporary arrangement for initial ten years. Mr. Sanson said that action of these MLAs speaks volumes of the brewing illwill and hatred among them against general category. They breached the oath of constitution taken by them while assuming the charge. Their illegal and unholy consortium on the basis to seek the murder of merit and seniority shall not tolerated anymore. Ram Paul Seth President of the AarakhanVirodhi Party was special guest on the occasion. SomNath Sharma, Ravi Kumar Sawhney, MadanLalAbrol, BhushanPargal ,V.K. Sharma, Deepak Gupta , Ashok Kumar, Vivek Kumar and others were present in the meeting. |
