Jammu, June 18: Dr Suruchi Eye Advance Care Center Bari Brahmana today introduced multiple facilities.
Addressing a press conference here today, Dr Suruchi Gupta (Eye Specialist) Head and Medical Director, Dr Suruchi Advance Eye Care Center, informed that patients of J&K are presently forced to go outside the state to Punjab or Delhi for the diagnosis and treatment for multiple eye ailments.
"For example, for the diagnosis and management of keratoconus which is very rampant in our state, patients are forced to go outside for the multiple options of treatment available for this disease.
Even proper diagnostic equipment is not available resulting in misdiagnosis of many patients suffering from this disease", she said, adding that the center is introducing German made state of the art equipment namely "Pentacam", the most advanced equipment for the diagnosis of corneal diseases like Keratoconus and lasik work up.
"The machine is first of its kind in J&K after PGI Chandigarh", she said. |
