Jammu, Jan 1: Instead of filling vacant posts of Ayurvedic doctors, the State Government is going to shut Ayush Units and Ayurvedic Dispensaries in Jammu division.
Sources informed Early Times that Indian System of Medicine (ISM) units are being shut down, due to shortage of Ayurvedic doctors.
"There is one post of Ayurvedic, Unani and Homeopathy doctors in each Ayush Unit, and there is one Ayush unit in each district, while a doctor along with other staff can run Ayurvedic dispensary", sources said, adding that ISM has sufficient number of doctors.
