Jammu, Nov 13: The efforts of the government to streamline the functioning of various departments ordering detachment of the employees attached in Civil Secretariat, have turned out to be futile exercise with many bureaucrats dishonoring the order by allowing their blue eyed employees to continue working under their control.
Sources told Early Times that a strong lobby of officers encourages attachment of employees from the subordinate departments either to oblige their own blue eyed or to oblige their senior officers/ ministers in Civil Secretariat.
"Taking cognizance of the attachment menace in the Civil Secretariat, the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti recently issued instructions to all the heads of the department to detach all the employees to their parent departments. Srinagar, Nov 13: A massive fire broke out in the old at Iqbal Market in north Kashmir's Kupwara town, 80 kilometers from here, on Sunday evening, reports said.
They said, fire emanated from a shop in the market around 7:00pm and engulfed the entire market. At least 30 shops were damaged in the fire incident.
Nearly 6 fire tenders rushed to the spot as the fire spread. The fire fighters faced difficulty in bringing the fire under control as the area is congested.
