Govt to offer JK Bank directorship to leading businessman to break protest calendar 8/7/2016 11:56:27 PM Early Times Report Srinagar, Aug 7: In a bid to break the protest calendars being issued by the separatist leaders and to restore normal life, the government is mulling to offer some leading businessman of Kashmir induction into board of directors of the J&K Bank. Reliable sources said the plan to rope in support of business fraternity to end the hartal politics was under active consideration of the Peoples Democratic Party-Bharatiya Janta Party alliance. Even though the Kashmir Inc till now has been reluctant to disobey the separatists, the government plans to lure businessmen towards the influential chair of the J&K Bank board of directors. Sources said the government looks ahead to offer this deal to the industrialists, entrepreneurs and traders, willing to be taken onboard in the bank. "The deal will be simple. Whosoever is first to volunteer to go against the hartal politics or revolt will be taken onboard in the board of directors," the sources said.
