AGENCIES
SRINAGAR, May 14: Political assaults between two rivals National Conference and PDP on various issues have been a common thing but calling names to each other started off late is now becoming a new trend.
In an attack on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leadership, the ruling National Conference (NC) on Friday described PDP patron Mufti Muhammad Sayed as "snake" and its president Mehbooba Mufti as "crocodile."

"Mufti's role in the State Subject Bill and Permanent Residence (disqualification) Bill are black examples of his deeds. Using might and money, Mufti made an attempt to pass bills amidst din in the state Assembly," alleged Shariq, a senior NC leader.
He alleged that Jammu and Kashmir were put on the path of bloodshed by Mufti Sayed. "When Mufti Sayed was the Home Minister of India, he had a hand in the bloodshed in Kash...

UDHAMPUR, May 14: There can be no better instance of double speak and hollow intentions of the NC led coalition government in terms of what it 'avows' for tourism promotion in Jammu region. While the government (Minister of state for tourism Nasir Aslam Wani) remained busy with...
