HC directs respondents to strictly adhere guidelines for allotment, sale of heli tickets Alleged Black-marketing of heli- tickets of Amarnath Yatra 6/10/2015 12:05:14 AM Early Times Report Jammu, June 9: In a petition filed by Master Tours & Travels regarding alleged of helicopter tickets for Amarnath Ji Pilgrimage, Justice Tashi Rabstan after hearing Adv Rohit Kapoor issued notice to respondents and directed respondents to strictly adhere the guidelines for allotment and sale of helicopter tickets for Amarnath Ji Pilgrimage- 2015 and also directed to file compliance report on the next date of hearing. After hearing the submissions of Adv Kapoor, Court observed that Contention of the petitioner is that the respondents/ authorities with a view to curve the menace of black marketing and to provide adequate facilities to the pilgrims, fixed rates for helicopter during the Amarnath Yatra, 2015 and it is contended that the Amarnath Shrine Board after receiving enormous complaints, constitute a committee and framed guidelines including 10(c) for the quota of helicopter to the travel agencies. It is further contended that respondent furnished the list in response to the application of the petitioner under RTI wherein it shows same members figuring in multiple associations who violates guidelines 10(c) framed by Committee so constituted, directed respondents to strictly adhere the guidelines for allotment and sale of helicopter tickets for Amarnath Ji Pilgrimage, 2015 and also directed to file compliance report on the next date of hearing.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
