Early Times Report

Srinagar, June 9: Singing in chorus with Separatist leaders in reference to lesser known militant outfits Lashkar-i-Islam and Tehreek-Taliban-Kashmir, Additional general Secretary of National conference (NC) Dr Mustafa
Kamaal has said that Union Government is re-shaping Ikhwan in Kashmir in the form of such groups to divide Separatists factions and devalue importance of United Jihad Council (UJC).
Separatist factions be it is one led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani or any other faction led by another leader and united Jihad Council headed by Salah-ud-din according to Mustafa Kamal are on the target of union
government and every effort is being made to divide them and devalue their importance through these newly appeared militant outfits like Lashkar-i-Islam and Tehreek-Taliban-Jammu-wa-Kahsmir. "whatever Geelani says is based on facts, New Delhi is impelled by the desire to Create Ikhwan in Kashmir and I guess they have succeeded in doing so in the garb of Lashkar-i-Islam and Tehreek-taliban-Kashmir and have already started killing innocent people, push people to dark ages by attacking mobile towers and threaten cable operators, it is a pre-planned mechanism to divide separatists and devalue importance of Jihad council."Added Mustafa Kamaal.
Never should people of Kashmir expect any kind of affection or mercy from union government of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) which according to Mustafa Kamaal is anti Muslim regime and committed to impose their hard line yet biased and anti people canons on common masses as they are doing in other states of the country by even interfering in religious matters like Beef ban of Muslims.
Kamaal said that "whether we agree with ideology of separatists or not is a secondary question, but as I have time and again said that voice of separatists matters in Kashmir and they are working on a recognized political front, yet the way these agencies have started killing innocent people like another one in Sopore today is a matter of worry and NC will openly protest against these lesser known militant outfits in Lal Chowk and ask Union Government to come clean on the issue." Pertinently after attacks on mobile tower landlords and threatening cable operators with a warning of seven days to shut down cable system across Kashmir or else face consequences, one Separatist activist of Sopore town namely Shaikh Altaf-ul-Rehman was killed by militants in broad day today.
Hardliner Separatist leader, Syed Ali Shah Geelani while reacting on the killing of separatist leader said that "There is hand of the Indian secret agencies behind the killing of Sheikh Altaf." Pertinently as lesser known militant outfits had already warned separatist leaders also followed strong reactions from Separatist leaders and united Jihad Council chairman, Salah-ud-din, Geelani today said that deceased Altaf was 'a pro-freedom person from his childhood who spent years in the jails and his whole family has affected by the freedom movement, besides his younger brother Shaikh Abdul Rouf was killed by the army some 20 years back when he was returning from Aligarh University to the Valley."
