JKATA demands regularisation of 881 ReZ employees
6/10/2015 12:05:46 AM
Early Times Report

Jammu, June 9: Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) today warned the state government of launching protests if the second phase list of regularisation of 881 Rehbar-e-Ziraat (ReZ) employees is not published soon.
"We are waiting for the list of regularisation for 2nd phase since 3 months but government has failed to do it resulting in uncertainty among the technocrats," JKATA President Surinder Radotra said.
"We do not know the reasons for the delay in publication of regularisation list of 881 agriculture technocrats working with Agriculture department as Rehbar-e-Ziraat (ReZ) employees," he said.
JKATA demands publication of Second Phase list of 881 candidates of Jammu and Kashmir as the Village Agriculture Extension Assistants with effect from April 1, 2015 as per cabinet decision, he said.
Radotra said when the BJP and PDP were in the opposition they pressurised then government for early and timely publication of lists on daily basis, but now when they are in power, they are unaware of the situation as they have never supported us.
Radotra said that Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh have strongly favoured and advocated our cause but since they have taken their respective offices they have not come with the any concrete solution.
"They have not even bothered about asking their administration as what is going on with the regularisation process of ReZ candidates," he said.
Radotra along with all the ReZ employees warned the coalition government that they will launch constituency wise protest in the state and would not hesitate for on-road agitation if the second phase list as per cabinet decision for both the regions is not published soon.
Radotra said that the people have voted for change in the state and people want to see change in the approach of the elected representatives. "Change should happen in the visionary ideas for the welfare of people of J-K state. People are fed up of untruthful nature of earlier governments which led to their downfall," he said. People have a strong faith in this coalition government, he said, adding, that as per cabinet decision last year first group of 881 workers was regularised.
