Early Times Report JAMMU, June 9: Vichar Kranti Manch International is organizing a series of yoga programmes in different schools of Jammu District as a part of Celebrations of International Yoga Day, which is being celebrated throughout the Country and abroad as per the wishes of Prime Minister, Narinder Modi and guidelines provided by Director Ayush, Govt. of India. As a sequence of this, a yoga programme was organized by the Manch at Learning Field Higher Secondary School. The programme started with chanting of 'Aum'. The significance and effect of 'Aum' on Mind and Body was explained by Shreyansh Kumar Jain, President Vichar Kranti Manch International. Different Yogaasans to keep the body fit and healthy were given and demonstrated by him. Eyes Exercises, in order to increase the eyesight and to improve the memory power, Bhramree Pranayam was also practiced, to get rid of stress, tension, anxiety, phobia, fear and for quick decision taking. Laughing exercises were also practiced, as laughing can activate 72864 veins and arteries of the body whereas Muscles/Joints can also attains good health. The programme was conducted by Chander Mohan Sharma, Gen Secy VKMI, Yash Pal Sharma, Joint Secy and they also participated in the programme. Indu Sharma, Principal of the School presented the Vote of Thanks and requested the Manch authorities to conduct such programmes in future also. |
