MLC Jugal Kishore distributes 72 cheques worth Rs 10.80 lakh 6/10/2015 12:34:59 AM Early Times Report REASI, May 8: Senior Congress leader and Member Legislative Council (MLC) Jugal Kishore Sharma, today distributed 72 cheques amounting to Rs 10.80 lakh to the beneficiaries from Panchayats of Ransoo, Sangar, Alaya and Teod in a programme held today at Ransoo, the base camp of Shiv Khori Shrine. As many as 72 families residing in four panchayats of Block Pouni were provided the financial assistance to the tune of Rs 15,000 each for repair of their houses out of Constituency Development Fund (CDF) of the MLC. Addressing the gathering, MLC Jugal Kishore expressed his resolve for the development of backward pockets of his constituency and to provide financial assistance to those whose houses need immediate repair was on his priority list. MLC promised that his focus will always remain on addressing the problems of the down trodden and weaker sections of the society and further assured the public of equal development of all the panchayats falling in Reasi constituency. Speaking on the occasion, Sarpanch Ajit Kesar, Sarpanch Bharat Singh, Sarpanch Swaran Singh and Sarpanch Pal Chand expressed gratitude to MLC for providing special financial aid to the deserving families of their panchayats. The Sarpanchs informed the MLC that the construction of roads and bridges in the area has completely stalled due to which the people of the area are facing lot of hardships.
