Somveer of Haryana lifts Udhampur Kesari dangal

Udhampur, June 9: Wrestler Somveer of Rohtak in Haryana won yet another dangal title when he defeated Sunil of the same state in the main bout of the IXth Udhampur-Industrial State Kesari dangal held at Industrial Area, Battal Ballian (Rathian) in district Udhampur.
Dangal was organized by Young Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association under the overall supervision of president of J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma and Rakesh Singh.
Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga was chief guest who gave away cash prizes to the winners and runners-up wrestlers. BJP leader, Pawan Khajuria, General Manager Industry, Neelam Khajuria and DySP Gourav Mahajan were guests of honour.
Also present were SHO Udhampur Arjun Singh Chib, District Horticulture officer Virender Badyal, Ram Paul Sharma, Deepak Anand, Naib Tehsildar Santokh Chand, Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri), Advocate Swatantara Dev Kotwal.
Winner of title bout, Somveer was awarded with cash prize of Rs. 50,000 while runners-up, Sunil got Rs 30,000.

Lehar Singh, Mohd. Fareed, Capt. Dhiyan Singh Retd., Vijay Singh Deepak Anand, Deepak Wazir, Swatantra Dev Kotwal.
