LPU launches Specialization Oriented New Programs 6/10/2015 12:44:43 AM Early Times Report Jalandhar, June 10: Keeping in view the requirements of the industry, Lovely Professional University has launched new programs with marked specializations. A few of the new programs after 10+2 include B.Tech ME (Mechatronics) integrated MBA; B.Tech Biotechnology (Food Process Engineering) integrated MBA; BBA (Financial Markets in collaboration with NSE); B.Sc & B. Design (Interior & Furniture); B.Sc Design (Fashion). After Graduation in Management, such new programs are MBA Agriculture- Business Management; Supply Chain & Logistics; and, Financial Markets again in collaboration with National Stock Exchange. After graduation in Agriculture, LPU has started M. Sc Fruit Science. Similarly, after post graduation, there are Ph.D programs in Agronomy & Sociology. In addition, LPU integrated programs that provide students complete Bachelor & Master degree together in 4 years have been seeing lot of attraction. These programs are formed after new guidelines of UGC that has come in the favour of students. Under these integrated programs students are able to save one year as well as fee. Elaborating about the integrated Programs LPU Chancellor Ashok Mittal said: "LPU has introduced new programs this year too. Many of these graduate and post graduate Integrated Programs implicitly save one year of academic engagement.
