| Betrayed by Union Govt, border people start constructing private bunkers | | |  Arun Trisal

Kathua, Dec 13: Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh MoS in PMO makes chest throbbing claims for the development on border areas but his claims differ at ground level as nothing has been done so far for the development and safety of border people.
Betrayed by union government, people started constructing private bunkers for the safety in their yards.
Ajit Kumar, general secretary Border Welfare Committee BWC alleged on Member Parliament Dr Jtendra Singh to forget his voters as during last three visit in border areas of to review security arrangement along International border, he never interacted with people who are the main sufferers of cross border shelling.
" Union government promised to allot 5 marlas plot to each family in safer place which later on shifted to construct of bunkers in each house but neither allotment of plots nor construction of bunker have been done till day howsoever left people on their own," Kumar added.
A large number of people from Hiranagar sector had to shift in relatives houses during cross border firing. They live in worse condition of decades but no permanent solution for their safety has been initiated by any of previous government either state or union.
Rama Devi , a house wife, said," Border people have been made fool by BJP government as despite of number of casualties in Samba sector during recent ceasefire violation, both union and state government left people on their own," and added that paddy crops and students study affected the most resulting people who fed up to false promise of government start constructing bunkers in their houses while spending more than one lakh for one bunker.
Bharat Bhushan, president BWC had also similar resentment against false promise of BJP government and said," Border people need permanent solution from regular cross border firing as they live in terror and move towards relatives' houses," and added that people raised the issue of their safety before every politicians and representative of people but nothing has been done.
He aggressively alleged on Jitendra Singh and Nirmal Singh Dy CM to have delivered false lectures of development from big stages as they did nothing special for border people that could be praise worthy.
Bhushan announced that border people would not be made fool any more as they started to construct bunkers in their houses for their safety. |
