Joint annual function of DBN Trust organized

Jammu, Dec 13: Dewanini V. Badrinath Trust run Institutions namely DBN Amarvilla, DBN Mubarak Mandi and SNS Vidya Mandir today organized joint annual function at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu.
Maj Gen Shiv Kumar Sharma A VSM (Retd.) was the chief guest on the occasion and Choudhary Lal Singh Minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment J&K Government presided over the function.
The chief guest and guest of honour were welcomed by presenting guard of honour by school band, Tilak at the entrance and bouquet were presented to the guests.
The function began by lighting the traditional lamp by the chief guest and guest of honour accompanied by chairman Virendrajeet Singh, Nandita Singh Gauri Nayar and other honourable guests.
Chairman Virendrajit Singh presented welcome address. Vande Matram was presented by school students. Annual reports of schools were read out by principals to the Institutions Indu Puri, Neelam Sabharwal and Praveena Jha. Twenty one teachers of the trust run institutions were honoured for their PDP Programme.
Advisors Leela Karan Sharma, Yas Puri and Ramakant Dubey were also present on the occasion. Programme presented a theme Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat with a valuable message in the society.
The students of trust run institutions participated in the programme. The presiding officer of the function Lal Singh in his speech appreciated the attempt of the students in highlighting the theme. Chief guest Major Gen. Shiv Kumar Sharma was very much impressed with the presentation of the theme.
He highlighted the works of bravery rendered by the soldiers for their country. The chief guest as well as the presiding officer of the function was honoured by the Chairman.
At the end of the function, Punjabi Bhangra was presented by the D.B.N. students which amused the public.
Vote of thanks was presented by the manager Rajendra Kakkar.
The main organizers of the programme were the principals Indu Puri, Praveena Jha and Neelam Sabharwal.
