Kathua, Dec 13: Kathua Campus, JU today launched awareness campaign on cashless economy under Vittiya Saksharata Abhiyaan (VISAKA) initiative under Ministry of Human Resource Development of India (MHRD).
The programme was attended by all the students of Kathua Campus along with teaching and non-teaching staff.
The day long workshop was conducted by Vivek Sharma, Academic Coordinator, Kathua Campus and Vinay Kesar. The focus of the workshop was to aware students, staff and faculty about various modes of cashless transactions like how to conduct bank transactions through mobiles, internet banking, RuPay cards and e-PoS devices.
The presentation also covered all the Digital Payment modes like Prepaid Cards, USSD, Mobile Wallets, AEPS, UPI, Credit and Debit Cards etc.
Vivek encouraged everyone to do cashless transactions and help to promote the benefits of cashless transactions. |
