| Clean Jammu, Green Jammu awareness drive launched | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 13: Jammu Municipal Corporation in collaboration with JK-Unity Trust, Trikuta Complex BC Road and Traffic Police Jammu launched Clean Jammu Green Jammu awareness drive from Amphalla Chowk to Disco Road Janipur. The drive was flag off by RS Jamwal (KAS) Joint Commissioner (A) JMC, Gourav Chopra, Chairman and Puneet Arora, President. Dr. Anita Salgotra Health Officer, JMC Sanitation Officer and other field staff of JMC was also present.
The field staff of JMC and members of the JK-Unity (Trust) appealed the shopkeepers to put their belongings inside their shops and not encroach the footpath which is path way for the general public. The shopkeepers were also requested to keep dustbins outside their shops so that the surrounding can be maintained clean and green. They also appealed the shopkeepers and public in general to park their vehicles at earmarked parking so that these will not hamper the smooth flow of traffic.
The Joint Commissioner (A), JMC appreciated the role JK-Unity Trust to participate and support the awareness campaign and also assure in future the possible support shall be provided for any social cause.
