Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 7: Mufti Mohammad Sayeed's era today came to an end. He left the world today morning at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, after prolonged illness. Now that he is no more, it is time to reflect on his ideology and what he stood and worked for after he founded the People's Democratic Party in 1999 after leaving the Congress with which he remained for many years. Mufti Sayeed floated his own party with a definite objective. His objective was to achieve self-rule for J&K and persuade New Delhi to engage with Pakistan so that the Kashmir issue could be resolved. Jehangir Rashid Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Jan 7: Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed passed away today in the morning at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. Sayeed was admitted at AIIMS on December 24 last year and for the past 14 days he was battling for his life. Reports from New Delhi said that the end came early in the morning but it was only at about 7:15 AM that it was officially confirmed by the AIIMS authorities. In addition to it the judgments passed by the SVC are also not uploaded on the SVC's website which is again a clear violation of section 4 (1) (b) of J&K RTI Act 2009 wherein proactive disclosure by public authorities is essential for every public authority.
