IAS officer raises 'illegal' complex, SVC unmoved

Koushal Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 8: Misusing his official position, a top bureaucrat, from Jammu division has allegedly constructed a complex, clandestinely on the name of his brother and mother, here in brazen violation of the Master plan. According to sources, the bureaucrat in league with his brother, a property dealer, has constructed a huge complex in city's commercial hub allegedly in utter violation of Master Plan and other laws. Some local residents had approached the State Vigilance Commission for action against the "illegal construction", but to no avail, sources claimed . They said the SVC sent a team of Vigilance Organization to the site and the investigation carried out by the team indicated that it is fit case for FIR. "But the commission has turned a blind eye towards the issue," sources alleged.
