Jammau, Apr 4: The Justice Retired RC Gandhi who submitted his report to the government on 16-3-2015 indicting Sajjad Ahmad Kitchloo, former Minister of State for Home in Omar Abdullah government, has recommended termination of services of the then Inspector General of Police Jammu Rajesh Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Police Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban Range Ashkoor Ahmed Wani, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Saleem Mohammad Chowdhary, Dy SP HQ Kishtwar Farooq Qaseer.
Communal violence had flared up on Eid, falling on August 9, 2013 which resulted into the killings of three persons and injuries to scores of others, beside loss to public and government property after the rioters created havoc in the town in a free for all situation.

srinagar, Apr 4: The state government has taken a serious note about officials withdrawing lakhs of rupees for repairing breaches and other damages which were caused due to the September 2014 floods.
Sources told Early Times the recent flood scare in Kashmir revealed that many breaches which were shown as repaired on papers turned out to be a "cosmetic measure" on the ground. "Departments which were assigned the job of filling in these breaches had taken temporary steps by just putting sand bags over the places from where water had gushed out during September 2014," they said.

Jammu, Apr 4: Cabinet on Monday is likely to consider and sanction a list of eight political leaders---four each from PDP and BJP---for submission to Governor who is expected to accord his approval to their nomination as Members of Legislative Council next week.
