Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 6: Considered a paratrooper in the BJP, Jitendra Singh, MoS in PMO is stoking controversies within his own party, which has given him a place in the Union Council of Ministers. Jitendra Singh, who was once eyeing the post of the Chief Minister, but got more frustrated after even the post of the Deputy Chief Minister was denied to him and given to the party loyalist Nirmal Singh, is doing everything to make things difficult for the state BJP. Jitendra Singh after first setting the Jammu on fire on the issue of the AIIMS, which ironically helped the Congress, has now started talking about the Dogra certificate. MoS in PMO who knows the art of diplomacy, decided to hit out at the Congress on the issue of the Dogra certificate. Dogra certificate, though could have helped the people of Jammu region, but the fact that Centre has adopted other means to give preference to the people of the Jammu, is a contentious issue as far as the alliance of the BJP-PDP is concerned. Avinash Azad Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 6: The university of Jammu is cheating the students who have enrolled with various courses offered. The Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) of JU has a total 22 faculty members for 17554 students enrolled for various courses although it earns huge revenue. "In the main campus 3187 students are enrolled and 450 students are enrolled in seven offsite campuses of the JU. There are 254 teachers (members in various faculties) and 142 teachers are there for 450 students at offsite campuses", sources informed ET, alleging that students at DDE are being cheated by the University and Education Minister as well who is taking 'remedial' steps...
