Cabinet heats up, angry CM leaves in huff | 'I am not a puppet' | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 9: The first cabinet meeting after shifting of Durbar Move to winter capital proved to be flashpoint of discord between PDP and BJP when heated arguments between the two angered Chief Minister Mehbooba to the extent that she left the meeting in a huff on an extremely annoyed note. A fuming Chief Minister made as hasty retreat, not before admonishing the BJP lot with assertion, "I am not a puppet Chief Minister…..". Soon after this development as the CM left for her residence, all the BJP ministers followed her and made a 'beeline' at her official residence in a vain bid to pacify her.
Sources said the cabinet meeting began on a smooth note and took up certain matters in the agenda until in the middle of it acrimonious situation erupted when almost all the BJP ministers in one voice opposed the proposal of the Home department regarding reorganization of the Police Department. Jammu, Dec 9: Cabinet Minister of present Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) and Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) government vindicated famous saying 'Ignorance is bliss' by asking young entrepreneurs to approach his Officer on Special Duty (OSD) and explain things to him, as he has no knowledge of the same.
According to highly placed sources, a group of young entrepreneurs had approached Cabinet Minister with a request to attend their ceremonial function.

srinagar, Dec 9: A tainted officer has been assigned a work order of above Rs 10 crore in one of the prestigious public sector undertakings.
As per reliable sources, the then General Manger SICOP was elevated out of turn as MD of JK Cements by the then Minister of State for Industries and Commerce, surpassing all norms.
After one and a half year, the said officer was found not performing properly and the corporation had a nosedive in so far as overall progress was concerned.
During his tenure as in-charge MD, JK Cements, many cases about his malpractices came to the fore. Later, the government declared him a non-performer, demoted him back as General Manager SICOP.
