Jammu, Apr 3: The former Revenue Minister late Pyare Lal Handoo, managed to secure a government job for his son 30-years ago on the basis of alleged fake qualification certificate. Sanjay Handoo, working as General Manager in Jammu and Kashmir Industries Limited, allegedly has never produced the original certificates for verification in the department, sources told Early Times.
They said late Pyare-Lal Handoo, who was the Revenue Minister in the cabinet of Dr Farooq Abdullah managed to get the job for his son in 1984 due to his political influence and his close proximity with Abdullah family.
As per the details available with "Early Times", It was in the year 1984, the Jammu and Kashmir Industries Ltd. (JKI) issued an advertisement for appointing "Works Manager" in Government Joinery Mills, Bari Brahmana, Jammu.
