Srinagar, May 21: Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday said that passport application of the Hurriyat hawk Syed Ali Shah Geelani cannot be processed in its present form, stating that it was incomplete.

In this regard, a division bench of the court comprising chief justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur directed Advocate General R A Jan to file an affidavit by June 1.
Court passed direction following submissions by the Advocate General that he may be granted time for making the stand clear. Jammu, May 21: Three weeks after raids by Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) on five flour mills in Jammu, the department has switched to loose flour supply under the Public Distribution System (PDS) in Jammu district.
Ration dealers have alleged that the decision to supply loose flour has been taken by the CAPD at the behest of flour mill owners who earned huge profit by supplying 50 kg bags instead of 10 kg.
