'J&K Update' by J&K Affairs cell in MHA has complete focus on Kashmir
No mention of Jammu, Ladakh in newsmagazine content
5/22/2015 12:13:32 AM
Early Times Report Jammu, May 21: J&K Affairs cell in the Ministry of Home at Centre is just not having its prime focus on Kashmir related policies and programmes but follows this in principle for other activities as well. The newsletter published every month by this wing has emphasis and efforts with regard to content completely on Kashmir, conveniently ignoring Ladakh and Jammu region as if these do not exist at all. At least that is what the issues of last two months reflect vividly through the length and breadth of the content and stories carried. The J&K Affairs cell publishes this mini magazine which it has named as Jammu & Kashmir Update. This was a unique initiative taken by the Ministry of Home Affairs and in words mentioned in the Editor's desk , this is meant to showcase positive developments taking place in the entire state. It also claims the ambit of the magazine covers all the three regions of the state with focus on achievements of the people. So far so good , as the objective states in loud and bold words. But reality doesn't reflect that claim, for the whole atte...

Early Times Report Jammu, May 21: What has PDP patron and J&K CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to do with what the national BJP leadership and BJP ministers are doing and saying at the national level? Mufti Sayeed is concerned with the agenda of alliance on the basis of which he formed coalition government with the BJP and that too on his own terms and conditions.
