BJP under fire
5/19/2015 12:13:07 AM
Early Times Report JAMMU, May 18: Things are not moving in the right direction for the BJP in Jammu province. On May 16, many organizations, including the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association (JKHCBA), lambasted the BJP. Almost all of them charged the BJP with selling out the Jammu's legitimate rights and interests to remain in power in the state and some of them asked the BJP ministers to "resign" from the government saying they had no "moral right" to stay in the government after its poor performance in the government and outside. "The BJP ministers and MLAs have stabbed Jammu from the back. They have surrendered everything to Kashmir. They have caused an affront to its self-respect," they had said, adding that the patience of Jammu was coming to an end and that they will achieve what was its legitimate due share in the polity as part and parcel of the state. More significantly, they had attacked the BJP and the BJP-led NDA Government more than the PDP. They had accused the Union Government of betraying Jammu. "They are just incompetent to safeguard the interests of Jamm...
