Suspense continues over oath ceremony, portfolios | Govt formation | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 30: As suspense continues over assumption of charge by the new PDP-BJP alliance Government, there is no word from either end as to when oath ceremony will take place, nor is any confirmed report with regard to structure and size of the Cabinet and Council of Ministers led by Mehbooba Mufti.
The leadership of both the parties are taking assessment of things before taking final call on distribution of portfolios which is learnt to be a matter between Mehbooba Mufti and the BJP Central leadership.
Sources said even as the aspirants for Ministerial berths in the new dispensation are groping in dark due to silence maintained from the two sides, the leadership of both the parties is in touch with each other on the issue of distribution of portfolios in the new arrangement. Channels of communication are on at the highest level albeit the matters are being discussed in a discreet manner, sources said.
