Jammu, June 17: A day after terminated policeman indulged in a sacrilegious act at a religious place in Nanak Nagar here, Police on Friday arrested two more suspects on the charges of instigating the accused to enter the religious place and create a scene there.
Sources told Early Times the duo came on Police radar after the cops went through the Call Details Report (CDR) of the accused ex-cop Gurbachan Singh son of Harbans Singh of Nanak Nagar.
The arrested duo have been identified as Rajinder Kumar son of Sukhdev Kumar of Nanak Nagar, a property dealer, and a UP based conman namely Suresh Kumar at present Talab Tillo.
The police swung into action on the statement of women devotees, who were offering prayers when the accused entered the religious place. The devotees told the Police the accused entered into the premises while talking over the phone. The accused was demanding Rs 500 from other persons on phone the devotees said.

Jammu, June 17: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has issued warning of more attempts to polarize the atmosphere in the Jammu region along religious lines to communalise the situation. The ministry has asked the state government to act seriously on its advisory and keep a tab on the developments.

SRINAGAR, June 17: There seems to be no end to the militancy related incidents in the state with around 150 such incidents taking place during January 2015 and January 2016. More than 60 civilians and security forces personnel were killed in these incidents.
According to the figures made available by the Home Department, 146 militancy related incidents took place during the period of 15-1-2015 and 15-1-2016. In these militancy related incidents 22 civilians got killed while as 39 security forces personnel also laid down their lives while carrying out operations against the militants.
