Cong moving towards total insignificance in J&K | | | Abodh Sharma
Early Times Report
Jammu, May 16: From the position of political inevitability to insignificance, Congress is relegating to the periphery of political canvas in Jammu and Kashmir thick and fast. If the central leadership fails to address the factionalism within its state unit and thinks out of the box to play the role of an imaginative and relevant opposition, it may soon lose its traditional political space to ruling BJP forever.

Ruling Coalition has given many an opportunities to the opposition that includes Congress in Jammu and National Conference in Kashmir, but while NC managed to make best use of those opportunities, Congress failed to make an impact.
Whether it was the issue of the BJP's stand down on ideological issues, opening of AIIMS in Jammu, Development of major tourism projects in Jammu or of late, the infamous incident of the NIT Srinagar which clearly pushed the saffron party ... | |
