Jammu, Nov 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi abolishing Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes has sent the separatists and the Pak-agents into a tizzy as the currency notes which had infiltrated into Kashmir through Hawala channels have turned into a mere pieces of paper.
Sources told Early Times that Pakistan this year had pumped in lot of money into Kashmir through Hawala channels to trigger unrest in the Valley. The miscreants who pelt stones and resort to arson were paid in cash by their handlers during the past four months. "Rs 500 and Rs 1000 were used to make the payments. As these notes have been scrapped, the separatists and their henchmen are scratching their head," the sources added.
They said, "The government's decision to scrap the currency notes has left many people in shock. They can't even deposit these notes in banks as they would have to explain from where they got the money from."

rajouri, Nov 9: Despite High Court ordering that the residents of twin villages of Nohoti and Varnara in Sunderbani here be distributed ration through the dealer who had been serving them for years, the Government has allotted the dealership to a BJP worker who is accused in several criminal cases.
The residents of the twin villages said around 200 ration card holders had been procuring their supplies from Pretti Chadda, who was the authorized dealer for the area.

Jammu, Nov 9: The Vice-Chancellor Jammu University, Prof RD Sharma, today termed the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani as 'unfortunate'.
Talking to media on the sidelines of a function, Prof Sharma said the prevailing situation in Kashmir Valley is alarming and the security agencies should have detained Wani instead of killing him.
"It would have been better had Burhan Wani been captured alive instead of being killed in an encounter," he said.
