Mehbooba reaches Delhi, Govt formation 'soon' | Advani-Joshi duo's help sought to save PDP-BJP alliance | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 21: To break the prevailing logjam in giving new shape to PDP-BJP alliance in Jammu and Kashmir, some "neutral interlocutors", close to both the parties, have sought help of veteran BJP leaders LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi.
These interlocutors are aware that Advani-Joshi duo has power to convince PDP and BJP leadership to show some flexibility to re-form the alliance in J&K.
Credible sources in the corridors of power said that Advani and Joshi have also given their consent to play their role to save PDP-BJP coalition, which is at the verge of collapse, in J&K. LK Advani had played very dominant role in formation of previous PDP-BJP Government headed by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. Both Advani and Joshi had especially came to attend oath taking ceremony of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Council of Ministers.
Sources said that it was all due to intervention of veteran leaders that some BJP Ministers have shown flexibility to form Government in J&K.
