Despite staking claim uncertainty hangs around oath ceremony! | Government formation | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 27: In what can be seen as the revived PDP-BJP alliance setting new trends and traditions setting aside the traditional practices on government formation, there is no clue nor any confirmation from either end with regard to oath taking ceremony despite both the parties having staked claim for the same. Uncertainty prevailing over the date is only fuelling the rumours that the new dispensation to be is leaning on a weak and fragile wicket.
Sources said it has never been in the Parliamentary practices nor seen it ever before in the state that after staking claim over formation of government and supported well by the alliance partner, no date is yet fixed for the new government to come into existence. "When any party stakes claim over government formation, it means a final call and implies everything is settled and sorted out…..but in this case the scene is far from being so as uncertainty still prevails over unspecified reasons", said the sources, adding that a message has gone in the political circles that things have not been sorted out yet by the ... | |
