Syed Junaid Hashmi Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 1: Within a day of Early Times exposing a murky land deal involving a high-profile PDP politician, a retired officer and serving officials of revenue department, more shocking details have come to the fore. Early Times has accessed a letter written by the whistleblower Patwari to the District President of Patwar Association (PA) Jammu Raman Raj Sharma. The whistleblower Patwari has talked about threat to his life and said that the PDP politician alongwith a business tycoon tried his level best to threaten and force him to dance to their tunes. He has claimed of having resisted pressure but added that his higher-ups alongwith an officer of Divisional Commissioner Office (Jammu) ensured that the title of land is not only changed but later, land is transferred to the business tycoon. According to the letter, Naib-Tehsildar JhajjarKotli Mohammed Rashid Ahmed mentally tortured, harassed, humiliated and threatened him of dire consequences if he did not bow to his dictates.
