PDP-BJP talks enter final phase, breakthrough soon | Govt formation | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Mar 16: Finally, deadlock over Government formation in the State is likely to end soon following four major developments, which have helped in bringing the PDP and the BJP closer.
Highly placed sources said the two parties have resumed talks in the national capital and that the foreign Ministerial-level talks between India and Pakistan scheduled to be held in Nepal on Thursday would have a direct impact on the Government formation.
"If the talks in Nepal remain fruitful, the breakthrough in formation of Government in J&K is expected by weekend," sources told Early Times.
They said the PDP has been assured on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that his Government was committed to improve ties with Pakistan "so that bonhomie between the two countries will create atmosphere of peace in strife-torn Kashmir."
